The essential

El Ego

Painting: The Ego. Oil on canvas.
Don’t try to inhibit or eliminate your ego, integrate it and use it as an ally to experience, learn and express.

So familiar, so overwhelmingly warm, unique, this form that I possess now, expressing the infinite universe in a material instant, embracing me, the reality is here, in the brilliance of my eyes that witness the wild, contemplating the outside and feeling the inside. We are eternal, all pain is an illusion, my heart, energetic creator, of a powerful pulse that connects with everything, a burst of life that is pronounced in each pulse, that is integrated with fire, air, with earth and water, with plants and animals, a field of consciousness in a symbiotic, mutant environment, which evolves and vibrates increasingly stronger. Seeds of a cosmic fruit tree, which slowly fall to the earth and not by chance but by synchronization, begin to flourish, awaken and express themselves, they begin to be. That’s what I am, that’s what we are.

The ego is the tool that drives us to create, it is what gives us expression, it is the engine that makes it possible to discover the means to reconnect with our I am (our famous higher self), the ego is the result of all the constructions that we have experienced in our biology throughout our history in this and other lives, is the information that allows us to be who we are today and that gives us the understanding to express that information in our environment.

All life that we experience and perceive through our personality is the ego, our customs, philosophies, beliefs, tastes, and any cultural expression that has shaped us and that identifies us as unique people. The ego is mediated by the alignment of the stars that in some way condition our personality and mark our behaviors, the Ego is our strengths and weaknesses, our attributes, our joys and failures, our emotions expressing themselves and making us feel, the Ego is all of this and more. Why should we eliminate the Ego if it is something so important to us? If it is what builds and identifies us, if it is the tool with which we are and live right now.

Think about yourself, love and create your space for yourself,
take care of your body, express your ideas, show your talents,
follow your dreams, That’s the POSITIVE aspect of selfishness,
you know something?… it’s perfect.

The negative aspect of the Ego is activated when we want to disruptively influence and evade other people’s egos, when we want others to think and act as I do because I think my way is the only and correct one, when we impose our ego on others. The rest and we try to make them believe what I conceive as my truth. When we invade the territory of others and try to make that territory as my intention wants it to be, when we want to convert other people’s territories as our own. These actions are unbalanced aspects of the ego, this imbalance like many others is given by the misalignment of our own internal energy (chakras) and it is our responsibility to align this energy and explore the positive side of the ego in order to use it as a tool that allows us learn and build realities.

Just like any tool, it can help us destroy or build, a hammer can be useful for joining wood and making a nice house, but it can also be useful for breaking glass and walls. The main problem is that our culture has taught us that the ego is the hammer that destroys, but we have ignored that it also builds and makes us who we are, it allows us to understand and create our own perception of reality, it allows us to evolve.

Each life we experience is done with different personalities, where the ego develops in different ways to absorb different experiences, in this way we manage to integrate the greatest amount of information and knowledge to continue with our infinite evolutionary path. Therefore, let’s take advantage of what we have, what we are, let’s use the tools we have in our path in alignment. Everything in life IS depending on the perspective and projection that we ourselves evoke. Let’s use our personality, our hobbies, our talents, our fears and weaknesses, let’s use all those tools to go beyond where we are now. Let’s use our Ego as a propellant to create what we want. If you are an introverted, quiet and lonely person, use that to concentrate and create, to discover yourself and show the world your strengths that will surely enrich the network of consciousness. If you are extroverted and sociable, use that to organize, to explore and know, to connect with people and contribute from your potential. Every aligned energy is useful, every projection of the Ego from internal alignment fuels the evolution of our society, so follow your path of understanding the Ego and use it as an element to transform and create.

Paint, sing, dance, write... create!
